{"id":29387,"date":"2021-10-13T11:08:26","date_gmt":"2021-10-13T11:08:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/verwoodtoday.co.uk\/?p=29387"},"modified":"2021-10-13T11:08:26","modified_gmt":"2021-10-13T11:08:26","slug":"traffic-chaos-hits-verwood-as-multiple-roadworks-appear","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.bournemouthone.com\/test\/traffic-chaos-hits-verwood-as-multiple-roadworks-appear\/","title":{"rendered":"Traffic chaos hits Verwood as multiple roadworks appear"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>At least four sets of roadworks are causing lengthy delays for commuters this week as Verwood is hit by temporary traffic lights in key locations.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Reports of trips to Ringwood and Ferndown from Verwood taking over an hour have filling local message boards, as Verwood residents attempt to get to workplaces and schools.<\/p>\n<p><em>The B3081 (Ringwood Road\/Verwood Road) currently has three sets of roadworks. They are:<\/em><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Outside the new Lidl store &#8211; temporary traffic lights whilst resurfacing work is being done to create an entrance to the car park<\/li>\n<li>Near Ebblake Industrial Estate &#8211; temporary traffic lights for work by Openreach<\/li>\n<li>Near A31 junction &#8211; South West Water carrying out work near the slip roads<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/verwoodtoday.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/IMG_8413.jpg\" data-rel=\"penci-gallery-image-content\" ><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/verwoodtoday.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/10\/IMG_8413.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"1414\" height=\"795\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-29388\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>In addition, the B3072 &#8211; the only other southerly route out of Verwood &#8211; also has traffic lights this week at the junction of Verwood Road and Ringwood Road.
