{"id":23412,"date":"2021-02-03T18:39:46","date_gmt":"2021-02-03T18:39:46","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/verwoodtoday.co.uk\/?p=23412"},"modified":"2021-02-03T18:39:46","modified_gmt":"2021-02-03T18:39:46","slug":"verwood-locals-required-for-car-parking-working-group","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.bournemouthone.com\/test\/verwood-locals-required-for-car-parking-working-group\/","title":{"rendered":"Verwood locals required for car parking working group"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Dorset Council is asking for local people to be part of a working group to help introduce a fair charing system for car parks in Verwood.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Working groups are being set up across the county, including in Corfe Mullen &#038; Wimborne Minster, and Blandford Forum, Gillingham &#038; Shaftesbury.<\/p>\n<p>The Council wants to bring in &#8216;fair&#8217; charges for car parks and on-street parking, aiming to make it easy for Dorset residents to shop locally and to enjoy Dorset\u2019s attractions.<\/p>\n<p>Car Parks in Verwood operated by the Council are currently free of charge for anyone to use.<\/p>\n<p>If this is something that you would like to be involved in, please email elizabeth.murray@dorsetcouncil.gov.uk.<\/p>\n<p>Please also include a short paragraph about why you would be suitable to join that particular group.<\/p>\n<p>Working groups will meet virtually periodically throughout the life of the project, starting this month.
