{"id":1292,"date":"2021-06-28T11:45:05","date_gmt":"2021-06-28T10:45:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bournemouthtoday.com\/?p=1292"},"modified":"2021-06-28T11:45:05","modified_gmt":"2021-06-28T10:45:05","slug":"new-council-homes-ready-for-tenants-in-bournemouth","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/news.bournemouthone.com\/test\/new-council-homes-ready-for-tenants-in-bournemouth\/","title":{"rendered":"New council homes ready for tenants in Bournemouth"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Three new modern family homes have been developed by BCP Council\u2019s housing delivery team at a former garage site in Ibbertson Way, Strouden Park, Bournemouth<!--more-->. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>These new homes will be ready to welcome families following the completion of the building works on 29 June.<\/p>\n<p>BCP Council\u2019s inhouse construction team built the new homes, which was previously the site of 16 garages. <\/p>\n<p>The development consists of two two-bedroom houses and one three-bedroom house. The new council homes all have gardens and parking spaces. They incorporate sustainable features to help reduce utility costs. These include increased thermal efficiency, solar panels, a sun pipe to enhance natural daylight and triple glazing.<\/p>\n<p><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/bournemouthtoday.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/06\/IMG_8980-533x400.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"533\" height=\"400\" class=\"alignnone size-large wp-image-1294\" \/><\/p>\n<p>On completion of the building and development works, the houses will become home to three families who are currently waiting on the council\u2019s housing register.<\/p>\n<p>Councillor Robert Lawton, BCP Council\u2019s Portfolio holder for homes said: \u201cWe are delighted that this project is now completed, which will provide three light and spacious new family homes.
