Rising stars of the golfing world have gamechanging legal backing in the bag following a new deal with Ellis Jones Solicitors.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The regional law firm \u2013 with more than 150 staff and 18 partners \u2013 has teed off a partnership with Pure Golf Management to support players and boost business opportunities.<\/p>\n

Ellis Jones is to act as the trusted legal partner for Pure Golf and the golfing talent on its books \u2013 including professionals on European tour circuits.<\/p>\n

Ferndown-based Pure Golf will help Ellis Jones build relationships with individuals and like-minded businesses through its contacts and networking opportunities.<\/p>\n

It comes as Ellis Jones\u2019 new sports law department \u2013 the first of its kind in the area \u2013 is on course for further growth.<\/p>\n

Partner David McWilliam, who is head of personal injury and the new sports law department, said: \u201cPure Golf has some exciting players on its books.<\/p>\n

David McWilliam has a Post Graduate Certificate in Sports Law from De Montfort University, Leicester, and is a member of the British Association for Sport and Law (BASL).<\/p>\n

David also sits as an Independent Disciplinary Panel Member for the Dorset Football Association and is a member of the FA National Serious Case Panel. He is also the newly- appointed legal advisor for Dorset Amateur Swimming Association (ASA).<\/p>\n
