Pair jailed for drugs and money laundering offences

Two people from Dorset have been sentenced following a major drugs investigation.

Officers from the South West Regional Organised Crime Unit carried out a warrant at a property in Wimborne in August 2025.

They discovered significant quantities of drugs, including cocaine, heroin, ketamine and cannabis, along with around £20,000 in cash.

Grant Putman, aged 33, and Brooke Marshall, aged 35, both admitted supplying drugs.

Putman also pleaded guilty to possession with intent to supply heroin and having an offensive weapon.

Marshall admitted money laundering.

At Bournemouth Crown Court on April 16, Putman was sentenced to six years and six months in prison.

Marshall received a sentence of three years and eight months.

Police say the pair were operating from their home and distributing drugs locally and across the UK.

Officers are continuing to urge the public to report information about drug dealing in their communities.
