Moyles Court School to close this year

Moyles Court School in Ringwood will close at the end of the current academic year this summer.

The school said the decision had not been taken lightly, after Mark and Jo Broadway spent the past 10 years rebuilding Moyles Court following its rescue in 2016 and creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where pupils were known and valued.

In a statement, the school said the combined impact of political, demographic and financial pressures had made it impossible to continue, pointing to rising costs, declining pupil numbers and wider changes across the independent school sector.

Families have been told the school will remain fully open throughout the summer term, with staff continuing to provide the same care, support and academic provision, while the focus turns to helping pupils and families through the transition.

The statement said the priority is now to ensure every child moves forward with confidence, while also recognising the difference the school has made over the years and thanking parents, pupils, staff and the wider community for their trust and support.
