Hendy Group, which runs multiple dealerships across Dorset, has been named the UK’s top ‘New Car Retailer’ at this year’s Autotrader Retailer Awards.
Now in their eighteenth year, the awards celebrate excellence in motor retail and recognise businesses that put customers first. Less than one per cent of Autotrader’s fourteen thousand retailer partners reach finalist or winner status each year.
The accolade for Hendy follows a detailed mystery shopping process and independent judging, confirming its strong performance in customer care and overall retail experience. The ceremony took place at London’s Leadenhall Building, also known as The Cheesegrater.
Duncan McPhee, Chief Operating Officer at Hendy Group, said the award reflects the team’s dedication and commitment to providing an exceptional car buying experience. He added that the recognition was a proud moment for everyone involved.
Hendy Group operates sixty-eight sites across the south coast, offering new and used vehicles, servicing, MOTs, parts, and fleet management. The business, which now represents twenty-five brands, has been serving customers for more than one hundred and sixty-five years.
