The A31 is down to one lane eastbound at Ringwood on the flyover for the town centre, causing congestion on the approach from Ashley Heath.
The A338 spur road is also suffering as a result with queues towards Ashley Heath Interchange northbound. It’s also affecting traffic from Verwood and Salisbury.
Hampshire Police say: “We were called at 6.22am with reports of a BMW colliding with the central reservation on the A31 eastbound.
“The driver, a 19-year-old man from Southampton, was taken to hospital but his injuries are not thought to be serious.
“Enquiries into the collision remain ongoing.”
Meanwhile, Ringwood Road is blocked at the Alderney Roundabout in Poole, with traffic backing up to Mannings Heath and Herbert Avenue, and Ringwood Road past the retail park.
Also this morning, Dewlands Way in Verwood is blocked in both directions due to fallen tree branches at its junction with Church Hill, meaning the X6 Morebus is also diverted from the area this morning.
Finally, the A35 is slow both ways at Morden Park Corner due to roadworks and a reported crash.
