A35 in The New Forest is blocked both ways due to an incident between Rhinefield Ornamental Drive and Pinkney Lane, just west of Lyndhurst.
A car has collided with a telegraph pole, causing damage to electrical cables between Pinkney Lane and Rhinefield Ornamental Drive, near The Swan Pub.
This closure is likely to remain in place into this evening.
No injuries were reported in the collision.
