A woman has been taken to hospital after falling from a flyover in Poole.
Police received a report of the concern for welfare of a woman on Towngate Bridge near the Dolphin Centre at 10.28am on Wednesday 3 July 2024.
It was subsequently reported that the woman had fallen from the flyover.
The road was temporarily closed between The George roundabout and the Asda supermarket before it was reopened at around 11.50am.
A spokesperson for the South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust, said: “We were called at 10:36 on Wednesday 3 July to a medical incident in Poole.
“We sent two double-crewed land ambulances, a rapid response vehicle, a critical care car and an air ambulance to the scene. One patient was conveyed by air to Southampton General Hospital.”
