Poole Harbour, Lower Hamworthy and Christchurch Harbour could be at risk of flooding today as this morning’s high tide is set to be higher than normal.
Warnings are in place along the coast due to unsettled weather with southerly force 5 winds and large waves.
Tides are expected to be higher than usual due to the forecast weather conditions during spring tides.
Residents are advised to be careful along beaches, promenades, coastal footpaths and roads as the expected large waves and sea spray will be dangerous.
Areas affected include Studland Bay, Sandbanks, Poole Harbour, Bournemouth Beach, Hengistbury Head and Christchurch.
