Disposable vape pods stolen from store after staff member is threatened by man with knife

Around 25 disposable vape pods were stolen from a Poole shop after a staff member was threatened by a man with a kitchen knife.

It happened at the Premier Alder Road store on Monday, January 29, at around 9.30pm.

The suspect is described as white, about 17 to 22 years old with light-coloured eyes, long fair hair, facial hair and of stocky build.

He was wearing dark-coloured trousers and a cream or white zip-up hooded jumper.

Police Constable Melissa Greenman, of Poole police, said: “I am carrying out enquiries into this incident and am keen to hear from anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area between 9.15pm and 10.00pm on Monday 29 January 2024.

“Also, I am keen to speak to anyone with information about the identity of the suspect.

“If you may have captured anything of relevance during the timeframe on either home CCTV or dashcam footage, please contact Dorset Police.”
