Dorset Police spent Friday disrupting the activities of a suspected drug dealing operation using mopeds in the Bournemouth, Christchurch and Poole area.
Detectives from Bournemouth CID were joined by colleagues from other enforcement teams as well as representatives from Immigration Enforcement for the operation.
They executed a warrant at an address in Bournemouth and conducted a further 10 overt checks at other addresses in the area. One person was arrested on suspicion of immigration offences, with further individuals sought by officers.
Detective Inspector Darren Moores, of Bournemouth CID, said: “We have continued to build intelligence and conduct further enquiries in relation to this alleged operation involving the supply of drugs in the area.
“By taking proactive measures such as this day of action, we can disrupt the activities of those reported to be involved and gain further information to assist our investigation moving forward.
“We fully recognise the reports of drug supply and associated activity has on our local communities and we will continue to take positive steps to disrupt the suspected supply chain and make Dorset a hostile place for suspected drug dealers to operate.”
