HSBC is planning to close its branch in Christchurch but provide an upgrade to its premises in Bournemouth.
It comes as the bank announces to shut 114 more branches across in the UK from April 2023.
The company says customers using them have fallen significantly since the pandemic, and it would try to redeploy affected staff but about 100 will lose their jobs.
Christchurch will close on July 25th 2023.
Blandford Forum, Shaftesbury, Bridport and Dorchester branches will also close.
