The planned half-term closure of the main Verwood to Ringwood road will now go ahead as planned despite being postponed.
The B3081 was scheduled to be shut to vehicles today from 7.30am to 5pm, October 29th 2021 until local councillors took action to move the dates to another time.
Last week, the same route was closed early in the morning of October 21st following a tree blocking the road. This prompted action to be taken sooner rather than later to make the area safe.
A diversion route via Three Legged Cross is in operation from 9.30am.
