A31 in Ferndown is partially blocked in both directions due to an incident on the Palmersford Roundabout near Trickett’s Cross, causing congestion on all approaches.
Dorset Police received a report at 3.37pm of a two-vehicle collision on the A31 near Ferndown, between the Palmersford Roundabout and the Ameysford Roundabout.
Emergency services have attended and road closures have been put in place. There are no reports of any serious injuries. Recovery is being arranged.
Also tonight, the rain and wind are causing hazardous driving conditions across east Dorset with a flood warning in place along the coast. Delays building in the usual spots, with Holes Bay Road northbound, Gravel Hill and the A31 around Lake Gates all congested, along with Castle Lane West past Castlepoint, Richmond Park Road, and Wimborne Road at Bear Cross.
