Power cut closes Moors Valley park

Moors Valley Country Park and Forest has been forced to close after an unexpected power outage hit the local area.

The park confirmed that all facilities, including the car park, visitor centre and onsite concessions, will remain closed until power is restored.

A statement from Moors Valley said the outage means they currently have no access to phone lines or emails. “Due to an unexpected power outage in the local area, Moors Valley will be closed until further notice,” it said. “The car park, Visitor Centre, all onsite concessions and facilities will remain closed until the power is restored.”

Rangers have thanked visitors for their patience and support while engineers work to resolve the issue. Updates will be shared on the park’s website and social media channels once more information is available.

The popular park, which attracts thousands of walkers and families each week, sits on the Dorset-Hampshire border near Ringwood.
