Wessex Way in Bournemouth is closed due to an incident between Bournemouth West Roundabout and County Gates. Poole Road is also partially blocked towards Branksome and the Poole Retail Park.
This incident was first reported on Bournemouth One on Tuesday afternoon (15/04/2025 11:26am), with Waze being the source.
Delays reported on surrounding routes including around Westbourne.
Dorset Police reported: “At 9.45am on Tuesday 15 April 2025, we received a report of a two-vehicle road traffic collision on the A338 Wessex Way in Bournemouth, close to the junction for Seamoor Road.
“Officers are currently in attendance with the ambulance service.
“A temporary road closure was put in place – the eastbound carriageway was reopened at around 10.50am.
“Minor injuries have been reported.
“Recovery has been arranged for the vehicles and the local authority have been notified.”
