Verwood Fire Crew attended a number of open fires in the town this weekend.
One of the incidents involved woodland on Moorlands Road on Sunday evening at around half past six. The fire was extinguished shortly afterward and nobody was hurt.
Moorlands Road runs from Edmonsham Road towards Stephen’s Castle past the former Hideaway venue, but no further details of the exact location are available at this time.
Firefighters were also called to Chiltern Drive near Morrisons on Saturday afternoon after reports of youths setting fires on a path, which were also quickly extinguished.
