A former Bournemouth theatre school student returns to his hometown next week as one of the stars of the Rocky Horror Show.
Arthur Janes plays Phantom, alongside three other cast members, in the musical’s UK tour which opens for a six day run at the Pavilion from Monday.
The 23-year-old used to tread the boards at the theatre as a member of Swish and says he can’t wait to return.
He told Bournemouth One: “When I was at school I used to come and do shows, every February, at the Pavilion so it’s a proper full circle moment.
“I’ll be back where I spent literally the majority of my childhood. I’m very excited.
“It’s just a heap of fun.
“The songs are great, the cast are great, it’s amazing.”
The Rocky Horror Show opens at the Pavilion on Monday February 3 with eight performances scheduled until Saturday February 8.
