Advice on staying well in the heat has been issued by NHS Dorset as temperatures are set to soar this week.
The UK Health Security Agency has declared a yellow heat health alert for the South West, including Dorset, from 9am today until Wednesday.
Temperatures could go as high as 30 degrees Celcius or 86 degrees Farenheit.
NHS Dorset is reminding people to drink plenty of fluids, dress appropriately, stay in the shade and limit strenuous activity.
Higher temperatures can be a particular risk to more vulnerable groups in the community such as older people and the very young as well as those with an underlying health condition.
The NHS has advice on heat exhaustion and heatstroke here.
