Arts by the Sea festival returns to Bournemouth this Autumn
The Arts by the Sea festival is set to return in the Autumn.
It’s going to run for three days from the 27th to the 29th September and the theme for the event this year is “Taste”.
Over a hundred artists are going to be taking part in the free event who will put on large-scale spectaculars, music, installations, dance, street theatre and more.
The Artist in Residence for this year is Rebecca Strickson, a Margate-based illustrator and designer who’s bold work uses eye-catching colour and pattern combinations to create memorable pieces.
Jasmin Edwards is a Bournemouth based circus performer and multi-hoop specialist, who has been named as the Associate artist. She seeks to create a positive impact not just on individuals but on entire communities as well.
More information about the event can be found on the festival website: artsbythesea.co.uk
