A heath fire near Corfe Hills School resulted in Higher Blandford Road being closed and people being advised to avoid the area.
Emergency services tackled the blaze from around 7pm on Tuesday and left the scene around 9.30pm after extinguishing the fire.
Dorset and Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service reported that ten appliances were in attendance from various crews.
It’s the sixth heath fire in recent days following five other fires over the weekend across Bournemouth and Poole currently under investigation by Dorset Police.
