Poole man designs new type of backpack and launches Kickstarter campaign

A Kickstarter campaign has been launched by a Poole man after he designed and created a new type of backpack.

Jack Bradley has been working on the product for the last eight years after wanting to make life easier for travellers.

He’s made a carry-on sized bag which transforms into a hanging wardrobe, and launched a campaign to sell 250 units online following a launch event at The Foundry last night.

Jack told Bournemouth One the Zenscape Travel Backpack has received all positive feedback so far. He said: “I was travelling in Vietnam earlier this year with it and everyone interested in it was asking where they can buy one, but I had to explain it’s coming soon.

“This is now the 12th prototype I’ve made following lots and lots of sketches and renditions but it’s finally available to buy on Kickstarter.”

Jack added that the idea for the product came to him on a train in East Europe, and he’d love to encourage more people to get out and see the world.
