A man has been arrested following a police chase on Turbary Park Avenue in Bournemouth.
Officers received a report on Tuesday afternoon that a man had failed to stop for police and resisted arrest.
He was subsequently arrested on suspicion of failing to stop for police, assaulting an emergency worker and driving offences.
He was also arrested on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle after it was reported the vehicle he was driving had been stolen.
Traffic was stopped in the area following the incident, which attracted “almost a dozen Police cars” according to one witness speaking to Bournemouth One.
