Man seriously injured after collision in Boscombe

A man in his 30s was taken to hospital following a collision in Boscombe on Tuesday night.

A 19 year old woman was arrested following the incident in Christchurch Road at around 9.30pm.

The man was treated for serious injuries and the road was closed while emergency services attended.

Police are now appealing for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.

Sergeant Mike Gatfield, of the Roads Policing Team, said: “We are continuing to investigate this collision to establish the full circumstances and I would urge any witnesses who have not already spoken to police to please make contact with us.

“I would also like to hear from anyone who was driving in the area and may have captured relevant dashcam footage.

“Road closures were put in place to allow the emergency services to respond to this incident and I would like to thank members of the public for their patience and understanding during this period.”
