In Photos: Delays on the Christchurch bypass due to roadworks

Delays are expected on the Christchurch Bypass until December 30th 2022 as Wessex Water repairs a damaged sewer pipe.
The dual carriageway between Purewell Cross Roundabout and Fountain Roundabout is restricted to one lane only in both directions.
On the first day of the roadworks delays of up to 30 minutes were experienced by road users along the A3073 Fairmile Road and on the approach from the east back to the Somerford Roundabout.
Alternative routes through the centre of Christchurch were also experiencing delays as a result.
