Dorset Police is expecting disruption on the roads this Bank Holiday weekend as the Bournemouth Horse Show and Drive takes place between Verwood and Three Legged Cross.
The East Dorset neighbourhood team from Dorset Police has been working alongside the organisers of the event in order to try and make it go as smoothly as possible.
In a local alert, they say: “We have been working alongside our partner agencies and engaging with the local public houses that the drive are heading too.
“We expect the drive to cause disruption on the road but please be patient and allow the horses and riders to get to their destinations safely.”
The event is expected to take place from Saturday the 24th August to Monday the 26th August just off Verwood Road, near Potterne Way.
