Holt Road reopened after emergency works

Holt Road from Three Legged Cross towards Holt has reopened after emergency works.

The road was shut by the Environment Agency suddenly in February 2019 after a chemical spillage, believed to be kerosene, took place near Mannington Brook.

There was no access between Horton Road at Three Legged Cross and the Cross Keys Inn but it is now fully open, although there is local flooding along the route.

A diversion was in place via Burt’s Lane and at the time of publishing, Google Maps says the road is closed until May 2019.
