Verwood Rotary Club has teamed up with Verwood-based Forest FM to allow Santa to visit local schools this year.
With many children missing out on visiting Santa in his grotto this year, the two organisations came up with a way for Santra to see them.
Forest FM has converted its outside broadcast vehicle into a mobile Santa’s grotto, and has already visited first schools in Verwood and Three legged Cross.
Steve Savile from Forest FM told VerwoodToday: “Children trooped out class by class to post their letters in the Christmas post box and chat with Santa.
“Some of the classes sang carols for him and just about all of them promised to be good this year!”
