Verwood residents are invited to meet their police community support officers during an event at Verwood Police Station this month.
Verwood & East Dorset Rural are putting on a Meet your PCSO’s occasion from 10am till 11am on Wednesday 22nd January 2020.
There will be a number of opportunities to talk about local issues and home security.
The local PCSOs will be on hand to;
- Discuss home security advice
- Talk about any community issues or concerns that you may have
- Provide leaflets and advice on rogue traders / vehicle crime / cold callers / fraud and scams and how you can avoid becoming a victim
- Security mark property including Bicycles
- Discuss handbag theft and how to avoid becoming a victim
- Provide children with stickers and colouring in sheets. Children are also welcome to pop in and try on Police hats!
- Provide purse bells, snap bands and other small safety and security items subject to availability
